Galaxy Buds on Android: the complete guide

1. Pair your Galaxy Buds with any Android phone
Open the case with the buds inside and hold it near your phone. Go to Settings › Bluetooth and tap your buds when they appear. You'll get audio right away — but no EQ, no widgets, and no gesture control on non-Samsung devices.
2. Install Earbuds Labs from Google Play
Download Earbuds Labs, open it, and tap "Connect buds". Grant the Bluetooth and nearby-devices permissions. Your model is auto-detected — Buds Live, Pro, 2, 2 Pro, 3, and 3 Pro are all supported on any Android brand.
3. Unlock the 10-band EQ
Samsung's own app ships a 5-band preset picker. Earbuds Labs gives you a full 10-band parametric EQ with per-ear balance, presets, and cloud sync across devices.
4. Add home screen widgets
Long-press your home screen, tap Widgets, and pick Earbuds Labs. Add battery, ANC toggle, and quick EQ widgets in multiple sizes — including a lock screen variant on Android 14+.
5. Remap taps and long-holds
Open Controls › Gestures. Reassign any tap to launch Spotify, trigger Google Assistant, start Shazam, or toggle ANC modes. All gestures work identically on Pixel, OnePlus, Xiaomi, Motorola, and Samsung.
